Treasure

Houses that I treasure.

Book Arts phase one.

Okay it’s two days before the deadline for our Book Arts module. So I better do some work. We had to pick a quote, line, phrase, lyric.. blah blah blah. I somehow settled on “Somethings tie your life together with slender threads and things to treasure. Days like that should last and last and last”.

And then I stopped working.

For quite a long time.

But now. After deciding on my treasure. I have a plan, A concertina book, with some cut outs of houses - mainly my Grandparents, and Great Grandparents - I have most memories there. And then there’s gonna be some sort of illustrations of things i treasure - some of my Great Nanas bags and a bear and a suitcase etc…. Then there will be maps. I was going to have tracing paper maps overlaid but it looks a bit like Bleughhhh. So i am going to stitch them and mark a big yellow treasure cross where all these special places are. Its quite a lot, and makes very little sense. But it might when its real.

And also there is going to be yellow squares. Handwritten words. And some things in this flesh coloured pen I really like.

I love bears.

Starting again. I went to Tumblr. It's fun but it's also really not. This is gonna be ALL about the work.
